Author Guidelines

Authors are requested to carefully read and follow the guidelines below before submitting their manuscripts to the Journal of Agricultural Innovation, Ecology and Agrotechnology.


1. Manuscript Types

The journal accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Short Communications
  • Case Studies
  • Technical Notes

2. Submission Language

All manuscripts must be submitted in English and written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct language.


3. Manuscript Format

  • File Format: MS Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12-point size
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
  • Page Numbers: Required

Length:

  • Research & Review Articles: 4,000–7,000 words (excluding references)
  • Short Communications: 2,000–3,000 words

Exceptional high-quality manuscripts may be considered beyond these limits.


4. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be arranged in the following order:

Title Page

  • Title of the manuscript
  • Author(s) name(s)
  • Affiliation(s)
  • Contact details
  • Clearly indicate the corresponding author

Abstract

  • 150–250 words
  • Should include objective, methodology, key results, and conclusions

Keywords

  • 3–6 relevant keywords

Main Text

  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion

5. Figures and Tables

  • All figures and tables must be numbered consecutively and cited in the text
  • Figures must be high resolution (minimum 300 DPI)
  • Tables must be editable (not images)
  • Captions should be placed:
    • Below figures
    • Above tables

6. Plagiarism Policy

The journal follows a strict plagiarism policy:

  • Manuscripts must be original and unpublished
  • Acceptable similarity index: below 10% (excluding references)
  • Plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin or iThenticate may be used
  • Manuscripts exceeding the limit will be rejected without review

7. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest
  • Studies involving human or animal subjects must include ethical approval from an appropriate committee
  • The journal follows the ethical standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)

8. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process:

  • Minimum two independent reviewers
  • Review duration: 2–4 weeks
  • Authors will be notified after completion of the review process

9. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • No submission fee is charged
  • APC is applicable only after acceptance
  • Charges cover publication, DOI, and hosting
  • Details will be communicated post-review

10. Submission Procedure

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system or as specified on the journal website.

Each submission must include:

  • Manuscript file
  • Cover letter including:
    • Title of the manuscript
    • Statement of originality
    • Confirmation that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere

11. Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright of their work
  • By submitting, authors grant the journal the right to publish the article
  • All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0)
